Complete Change of Subject – Time is So Precious

I’ve been away from the blog over the last couple of weeks and I’d like to explain.

3 weeks ago my Father-in-Law was taken into hosptila with Suspected TB (he’d been travelling and something wasn’t right) a few days after being in Hospital, it was announced that he had advanced Lung Cancer. Weeks to live, we were told. obviously, everything has been a blur for everyone.

On top of this, My mother went into hospital last Friday for a minor operation. Sunday morning I received a call saying that operation went well, but that she’d also had a suspected heart attack after the op. We’re still waiting for confirmation results.

I don’t want this to be a morbid post, but just want to urge everyone to think of their family and friends. Circumstances can change all too quickly and when you least expect it. One minute they’re here and the next, well, they’re not. It’s a scary and humbling prospect.
